IsraelDefense has learned that Israeli company SuperCom, which specializes in the development, production, and marketing of security solutions, digital authentication and identification, electronic monitoring, and IoT systems, has recently won an approximately $18 million contract with the Swedish Prison and Probation Service to supply electronic monitoring systems.
Electronic monitoring has been SuperCom’s primary and fastest-growing business segment in recent years. The company provides GPS- and RF-based electronic monitoring systems used to supervise released prisoners, offenders under house arrest, and individuals subject to restraining orders in domestic violence cases.
In addition to Sweden, the company is carrying out dozens of national projects across Europe, including major government contracts in Latvia, Germany, and other countries. SuperCom also has a significant presence in the United States, providing electronic monitoring services to states including California, Texas, Kentucky, and Idaho
